 Warranty Information

Dear Valued Customer

American Flag & Banner Company is proud to offer you the finest flags in the industry. We guarantee this flag to be free of manufactures defects and, in addition, guarantee the color fastness of the Old Glory Red not to fade to orange & our Old Glory Blue not to fade to purple within one year of your purchase. We also guarantee each flag to have lock stitching throughout, a four needle fly hem, and the interior of the flag will not "blow out" for one year.
If you should experience unusual wear, please call us. We will address your concerns, and work to resolve any issues.

Our Storm Tough® flag is extremely durable two-ply woven polyester. We consider it to be a very long lasting flag, and will last, or, out last other flags flown under similar conditions. We guarantee our flag from rip outs (star field failure) and manufacturers defects in construction. If you experience earlier wear, or fraying, it would be due to local climatic conditions in your area that would cause any other brand to exhibit the same wear, and in most cases, sooner than our Storm Tough® flag.

We realize that many of our valued customers are not familiar with the characteristics of flag construction, dyes, and materials used in manufacturing. All dyed flags absorb rays. The color absorption process not only gives us our flag color but aids in the degradation of the dye (fading) from the sun. The flag materials are effected in the same way and are acted upon by the forces of wind and airborne particles driven into the flag. The reinforced fly end is also exposed to these factors especially during windy and rainy conditions. So, flags can be expected to wear or fade out in response to geographical conditions, methods of attachments, and placement within the local area of display.

Help prevent premature flag wear. Take the flag down during storms whenever possible. Keep your flag from fraying or tearing by looking at the fly end of the flag for any signs of war. If wear appears, the worn part should be cut off and the flag re-hemmed. A clean flag will last longer. Pollutants in the air will get into the fabric and cause it to degrade. To clean, wash it in a mild detergent, rinse and hang dry. Keep your flag away from petroleum and chemical products. Never fold or store a flag when it is wet. Let it hang dry completely before you put it away. Wet flags will mildew and ruin the fabric.

We would like to thank you for using our product, and hope you will continue to use it in the future. As always, if your flag has failed due to a manufacturers defect, torn inside of the star field, colors of the flag changing hues, we will gladly replace the flag at not charge.

We know of no other flag company that offers or exceeds our guarantee.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  1. Storm tough flags

Posted by Michael Cormican on 16th Aug 2016

I have been flying the 3x5 storm tough American Flags for probably 25 years. They are the longest lasting flags of any that I have flown. I have been flying the American Flag outdoors since I was discharged from the U.S.COAST GUARD in 1968.
As usual the flags arrived on time as stated.

  2. These flags last 16 months in some of the harshest weather in the continental United States. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Posted by jim on 26th Jan 2016

I have my flag out 365. LED spotlights from low light levels till bright light treat her right. We get 60 mph winds, -37 last winter. The only she comes in is when ice storms hit. The pole can't handle it.we are in the Thousand Islands in Northern NY.

  3. The Best flag for the money

Posted by Unknown on 9th Dec 2015

I have purchased these flags for many years and I fly 24/7 lighted. I replace every December 7th and could still get some more time as my flag is barely faded.

  4. Awesome Product

Posted by Unknown on 6th Dec 2014

Keep up with the American made flags. They are the best

  5. Best flag available

Posted by Bob on 25th Jun 2014

Is is my third or fourth, lost track, it's lighted and is flying 24/7, and living in the Pacific Northwest it gets it's share of weather and really holds up.
